The Roster Grows

Live from Florida in Front of the Slaughter House Arena
Mark Zylbert stands tall at a special podium set in front the press and a small crowd of wrestling fanatics. As the clock hits noon he taps the microphone before speaking.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen. I want to thank you in advance for your time as I make this brief, yet historic announcement."
The crowd begins to speak between themselves.
"March twentieth of this year, DREAM was forced to cease operations pending the outcome of a grueling court case involving allegations that the original purchase of DREAM, the DREAM trademarks, library, and everything associated with the promotion was never valid."
The crowd scoffs.
"After much litigation, our tuff team of lawyers have won. We can, and will be resuming operations immediately."
The crowd begins to clap, until Mark holds his hand up to tell them to wait.
"This process took a lot of time and greatly reduced our funds. To help pay, we had first leased out and then resold both sVo and HOSTILITY brands, licenses, and libraries back to their original owners at a greatly reduced amount. A price we had to pay to make sure that DREAM could continue in two thousand and ten."
Muttering continues..
"As DREAM and HOTv is still negotiating a new weekly television deal, we have reached an agreement with four major satellite and cable companies, in which we will proudly be bringing you each month, via pay per view, exciting wrestling as only DREAM can!"
Heavy clapping and cheering begins.
"I personally feel the lighter schedule with be less harsh on the bodies of our talent, and allow them to interact more with the fans between shows each month."
A member of the press raises their hand.
"Yes, you."
As Mark points at him, he begins to speak.
"Mr. Zylbert, so what you are saying is DREAM will only be running a once a month pay per view event?"
Mark shakes his head.
"Yes. We feel until an acceptable deal between HOTv, or another network of such magnitude can be made, that our fans would love a huge monthly event, with the occasional web cast match or pay per view special thrown in.
The talent will work maybe 5 days out of the month, and spend the rest of their time home with their families. At DREAM, family is first."
Another question is imposed and accepted by Mark.
"How about those who where under DREAM contract but now under contract with promotions such as High Octane Wrestling or DEFIANCE?"
Mark shakes his finger in agreement with a smirk.
"I was getting to that, thank you for bringing talent up. At this time we can confirm two returning members to our roster, both former World Champions."
Excited ramblings from the audience.
"The hall of famer himself, Doozer, will be returning along with the one and only Mike Polowy."
Cheering and clapping.
"Our talent will have open working contracts and will be able to appear on most other promotion's programs, both live and televised. Time is running short, I do appreciate you coming out today. Look for us to announce our first pay per view for September soon! Thank you!"
Clapping begins and cameras flash. DREAM is back!
