Last year, the DREAM Wrestling Federation purchased the rights to the Sanctioned Violence Organisation and ran weekly replays of old shows. Many fans where shocked when the plug was pulled on sVo:retro a few weeks ago without warning.
It is now being reported that negotiations went on for three weeks and all parties came to an agreement that leaves the DWF funds in a very big positive. It's being rumored that the original owners of the sVo paid three times the amount originally paid by DREAM for the library and rights.
Why not just get a license to promote under a different name? Why not take the very obvious cheaper route? Simple, the sVo is a hot commodity. It is also rumored that the DWF and sVo have been negotiating a few dual contracts for talent between the two companies.
More as it develops.
